Today is day number one for Ogden Marathon.  I have been sick all weeekend, havent done anything or even moved for that matter since Thursday.  So today I went to work still feeling a little conjested nothing major.  When I got off work I headed to the gym to run on the tm.  I originally had 6 in mind but figured since im there why not try to shoot for the loong week run adn just get it done since I have plans Saturday night.  Ran 10 miles with an AP of 8:12 and I feel a little slugish and tired at first but i kept goin.  Warmed up for about a half of mile and cooled down to about half of a mile agian  During my run I have decided that during this training I will work on speed, I will log more miles but also add an extra run here and there and keep a more detailed log on how my runs went, if pain, what kind of pain where the pain was, where I went, how I liked it and so on.  That way I can go back and reference to something or maybe even compare day, like why was my long run so good this time but not last time, what did I do different.  I will also try to do my long runs on Monday until it is not so cold and until Alana get feeling better.   I saw Shannon and Marlin , both so nice and caring as always.  I am one happy boy. ooooooh yeah I also bough me some new shoes! WOHOOOO!
