| | Super tired. Been super busy at work and have been putting in a lot of hours worked 6 days this week but I know I have a goal and I must complete the goal. Super rainy day.. So got off work at 4 went down to Freeman parked looped twice back over to greenbelt and up to starbucks. These little rewards make it all better. |

| | Met up with Lyndsi and Alana drove up Sunnyside. Seriously, if the weather was always like today I would be very happy. Came down Sunnyside hill my legs felt tired, tight and heavy but some how after we made it to the downhill and started on the flat I felt amazing and off I went. Love running with people the energy from each other is what keep us going so strong. Alanda and Lyndsi were very strong the entire time, they are gonna KILLLLL Ogden half. |

Woke up to a very rainy day again. It reminded me of Salt Lake Half a few weeks ago. It was kinda nice to hang with Craig, Andrea and Curt and just learn hot they prepare for the race. Started with the 3:35 pacer but felt pretty good so I pusjed it a llittle and met up with the 3:25 pacer. Felt amazing even though it wass raining. At mile 20 I started to feel a chaley horse in my right calf come on kept going hoping that it would go away. When i got to mile 24 I lost the 3:25 pacer and had to stop multiple times to massage my calf. Overall I am very happy with my time. I need to train harder and hope to qualify for Boston someday. |

| | Met Alana and Shannon this morning. I had planned to go out 8 but as soon as I started I knew that finishing 8 would be a challange. Super slow pace, still pretty tight and sore specially my quads. Alana had a GU and gave it to me at mile 4 or so. As soon as I took it I knew it was going to get a little ugly. About 30 seconds after I took it, I puked it up. NO BUENO! I ended up finishing with Shannon at 7 and she was so nice and gave me a ride back to my car. Thanks Shan! I seriously didnt think I would be able to finish. The mind always wants to give up before the body does. Hoping for a good yoga stretch. |

5:00 AM memorial day run. Only got about 4 hours of sleep so I was kinda nervous about how the run would go. Met Alana at her house did our 10 mile loop. Felt amazing. Runs like today make 4:00 AM alarm clocks on Saturday morning worth it. Pretty good pace pretty good conversation and amazing sunrise and the best part NO WIND!!! What a great way to start a day! |
